I get a call from a neighbor who's late for work and has managed to lock his keys in his car, now I doubt theres a single person over the age of 30 that has not done that at least once, so thats just about expected. but when I ask him if he has a spare set of keys, he says ,sure I do, .....OK..where are they?......youll love this.... he says...
"I bought a magnetic key holder, and put the cars ignition key and my front door key in it then I placed it in the cars trunk in a recess where you can,t easily find it"

I smiled and asked how to access the trunk with the car locked? and got that deer in the headlights look....

I suggested he duct tape two spare keys inside his wallet plus two more be placed in a small tupper-ware container he can bury near some obvious object like a corner of his house in the future, for emergency use and perhaps taking the current magnetic case and placing it up in the car frame in a rather difficult to see location thats accessible in a locked car would not be a bad idea.
then I used a slim jim to pop open his door lock, but Id point out that there are cars a slim jim won,t work on, and if he had ON-STAR he could have just made a phone call to unlock the car

How do these people make it thru life to be that old.......seems some kinda stupid mistake would take them early!

I had billfold long time ago, that came with a little flap with a hole that would accept the pointy end of the key.
