Guys what is the largest wheel and tire comb I can put on my stock 82 vette? thanks

When stock 15-inch wheels are used, the widest tires that will fit C3 Corvettes on all four corners without rubbing the fiberglass or the frame are generally 245/60R15 or 255/60R15. Larger diameter wheels will be required to put modern high-performance tires on these Corvettes.

off set trailing arms and aftermarket disc brakes cak also give you options on larger tires that fit or force you into making different option choices, if you call several aftermarket tire& wheel vendors they can give you options

BUT they use the teoretical width of the wheel, wich is about one inch smaller.
