" Have any of you turned your leaf springs around so more leaf is closer to the front spring eye?I have lift bars an was told mopar's used to do this and open the spring clamps on the rear near the shackles so the body would lift higher an plant the slicks better.This is on a 55 chevy drag car only.Just wondering while I was installing poly bushings in my springs."
don,t do it it screws up the suspension geometry and clearances, theres a correct way to increase the weight transfer and traction , and its likely to require a different drive shaft length, pinion angle and cause tire clearance issues
