I saw this sequence posted, and it sure brought back memories , back about 1969, I had some moron hit me doing about 40-50 mph, on a harley, while I was pulled off on the road shoulder in my 1967 fire bird , he hit me head on with a Harley, while driving completely in my lane, so hard it tore the drivers side front fender and wheel clear off and had him land 30 feet past the fire bird even though I was flashing the headlights and honking the horn and fully stopped with the car pulled 1/2 off the road way, As I had seen him coming in my lane for several hundred yards,I had several witnesses, as it was a residential street, and people had come out to see what all the noise was about, even before he hit,my car. Id pulled over to allow him to pass, and the Harley driver was obviously 90% out of his mind drunk or on drugs,amazingly, he got scraped up, but not seriously hurt, and after jumping out of my car , a quick look at my car and a quick look at the Harley driver, resulted in a quick discussion, where I explained the situation,about getting my car repaired and his future prospects, when the cops arrived about 4-5 minutes later he explained to the cop it was all his fault,(as did several witnesses,) and asked if he could sit in the cops car as he felt he would be a bit safer there.
( the wife said Id suggested some rather graphic mid-evil, dismemberment practices that I don,t recall, that might befall the Harley owner ,if he failed to tell the truth, that had gotten his attention)
