Hi! I've just rolled in here after signing up awhile ago but never checking the place out. I've been reading, thinking about, and following many of GrumpyVettes posts over many years from his many prolific postings on another board I've actively followed for a long time.
Anyway, I live about 1 1/2 hours Northwest of Philadelphia-Near Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton. I've worked as an electrician for an educational facility for about 23 years. I have always been drawn to all things GM. Chevys in particular. Over the years I've played with many vehicles from "routine" maintenance (whatever needs to be done) on daily drivers to engine rebuilding to a frame off to working with a few select buddies on many different things.
My current plaything (don't tell the wife) is a 79 Malibu with a mildly built 350 that has a long story behind it and will be on the road in a few months.
I'll be lurking around to see what GV has to say and posting when I feel I can add to the conversation. It's always nice to find a place where you can bounce ideas off of guys who have a clue as to what they're talking about.
