Hi everybody,
I used to go on this sight and read and learn a lot about numerous subjects. I somehow got side tracked with work. Its amazing the amount of time and effort some of you put in to even the smallest areas of performance and engineering. I am retiring this year and hope to have more time to work on cars. I have a 40 Olds and 40 Chevy street cars. They seem to be never ending projects. I want to thank everyone for sharing your knowledge and expertise. Many of us shade tree mechanics do not have the equipment and resources a lot of you do so sharing the info really helps some of us out.
Nice to meet you all.

Bill

Glad to have you join and post!
let us know where we may help?

btw one of my friends when I was much younger owned and drove a 1937 buick, it was built like an armored car and weight almost that much, but he loved it, he eventually installed a 350 buick and th350.

for those of you that have no idea what a 1937 buick looks like (Ive never seen one other than his in the last 50 years)
