John Bales from Indy here. Retired Cop and Army. Have a 1964 Chevy C-10 with a 6 cyl & 3 on the floor. I have a fresh built 350 ci and 700R4 ready to put in, just waiting for my back he get better.
I understand there are modifications that the 700R4 trans needs. Could anyone explain? Thanks in advance.

welcome to the forum! and thanks for your service, i recently got of the army myself, and that is a really nice lookin truck! im not sure what you mean by modifications, a 700r4 should bolt right up to the 350 the only modifications i could forecast might be the mounting setup... transmission crossmember differences. possibly some firewall clearance issues but i doubt that highly.
