Just looking for a place to talk cars, engines etc. I was into old Kawasaki triples for many years but sold them all just before I retired and now want to start digging into all of the projects I have been saving up. I have a 63 vette 327 340 hp with LT1 angle plug heads, long tube headers and a 151 cam. Has run 13.2 but has not been on the road for the last 20 years. Also have a bbc 427 from a 1967 impala (385 hp) that I ran in my 65 GTO for a while. Sold the GTO but kept the engine. Considering a rebuild and possible 496 stroker kit. I also have a 400 sbc that I picked up many years ago which I am considering building to go into my 1990 GMC pickup. Lots of projects to consider but want to see what everyone else is doing to help decide which project to do first. I have built a few Chevy and some Pontiac engines in the past so do have some experience with building and do have some assembling and measuring tools. I have a welder and extensive hand tools but have moved since the last engine build so I don,t have a machine shop as yet. I am a big fan of David Vizard and do spend a lot of time on YouTube checking out various folks videos. Hope to learn a lot from this site.
