while IM fairly good at corvette body work (thru experience,being broke and needing to do most repairs myself)
Im better at engines, so feel free , to post questions, and pictures when you can, detailing your repairs.
BTW GET A FACTORY SHOP MANUAL,
for your year corvette, as theres a lot of little diagrams in info/tips in one that help in the repair process, that you won,t find in a common Haynes type manual,all thou at times having both is helpful, and asking questions here, on line is helpful at times
