Hi there,
Joined the site a few weeks back and figured it was time to say hi. I have a couple projects on the go. A 1984 Z28 and a 2000 Corvette. The Camaro is being built strictly as a show car and the Vette is being built as a street car with occasional trips to the track.

I have built an LS1 for the Vette that dynoed at 521 HP - 530 Ft/Lbs. This along with a new 3.42 diff with hardened shafts, and a rebuilt trans will go in soon. Just waiting for my 2 post lift so I can unmarry the drivetrain from the car.

My daily drivers are a 2007 Trailblazer SS and 2005 Ram 2500.

Pics of all 4 vehicles, the new LS1 and a video of the motor on the dyno.

first , I got to say. everything looks really nice, Ive always suggested anyone with a vette also needs a pick-up truck, for parts chasing.
that camaro race car body core has alot of potential, but ID take my time installing the roll cage and suspension, too be very sure everthing stayed level and square, and properly re-enforced and clearanced and when you tub the rear be sure to leave adequate access to all areas. PLAN OUT THE COMPONENT LOCATION WHEN BUILDING THE ROLL CAGE AND 4-link, because once you start hammering on the car with a good deal of tq that becomes very important to getting the car to handle well

Thanks Grumpy.
The Camaro is going to be strictly a show car. No roll cage at all. It is stripped down right now so the whole car can be bead blasted before primer.

hi, i am your neighbor, ABQ new mexico here.

i joined here because i saw grumpy's posts on other forums and i really respect his approach and knowledge. my son and i are planning a stealth ram build on a SB 400.

your vehicles all look great. i had 4 different 3rd gen camaros/fbirds/TAs over the years. your 84 looks like a fun project. what is the theme going to be (any particular style, or inspiration)?

your vette is nice, i like those trailblazers SS's too. we also have a rare '07 SS, a malibu maxx:

(photoshopped to lower the car, my fiance won't let me drop it in real life!)
