Happy to join you here, this seems like a very nice site with a lot of useful information. I have a 70 Corvette which I am working with. Car has a 355 engine today, and a M22 manual transmission. My plans for the winter will be to put in a 383 stroker engine which I am working on putting together and into the car during the winter. I may possible also put in a 5 or 6 speed transmission.
I hope to pick up good tips and advice for the future work and improvement on my car. Best regards Pal

Let me be the first to welcome you to the forum! We look forward to
seeing your plans for the new engine. BTW, I love that paint scheme, it's
really beautiful.

What kind of power level are you wanting to build into this engine? You
might want to keep in mind that the octane level is rated different in
Europe than here in the US. Just keep that in mind when you are reading
about related components and parameters like CR here on the forum.

if you look around youll find a good many threads on properly building an impressive small block chevy engine

heres a few links and the sub links they contain will get you a good start with a few days of related reading, and yes its very easy to find links have sub links with more sub links ETC. but youll also find a HUGE AMOUNT OF RELATED INFO
obviously , since the whole reason we have the site is to help each other build better cars and engines if you have any questions ,you may, as well just post them and if you have ,pictures , part numbers or measurements etc.it sure helps

Thank you for all your nice greetings :D . I will study the information received, and possible start a new thread for the new engine build up.

i keep coming back to this thread to see the car, i love the "special chevy's" such as the yenkos and baldwin motions... the stripes on those cars particularly are so defining

Thank you Phil, the paint is surly inspired by Balwin Motion etc and was what I loved when I first saw the car. I have seen a few cars with simular paint scheme in the US. But here in Norway it really sticks out.
