I heard about this site from a person whose knowledge I respect and it far exceeds my expectations. I've had my 95 coupe for a few years and participate on other forums to learn what I could. Joined here about a month ago and have been reading thru links, this site is like the Library of Congress for advice and knowledge :D . I've decided it's time to start modding what is a stock car (except for Corsa and wheels). Little rusty on serious wrench turning, last time was with a 70 vette B.C. (before kids), so I'm looking forward to doing RR's & springs, a rear change and cam down the road. Look forward to contributing when I can and using all this stored expertise from you all.
Glad to be aboard.

we are glad to have you on board, please tell your friends, as the more traffic, we get thru the site, the more likely interesting questions will be posted, and the more info will be posted in response.
the main concept of the site is, for it to be a teaching aid or as a ready and easily accessed data base with sub links to subjects and related info, that will give you a good start at avoiding the wasted time and money that learning things thru trial and error would cost you, without it.
thus giving you a far more enjoyable and less expensive trip in this automotive hobby
I want, and the other old geezers posting on here generally want, to help the newer guys make far fewer mistakes and avoid doing things wrong like most of us did early in our careers, because its a real P.I.T.A. to do things over once you find youve done something wrong or screwed up, and if we can help you build or repair or carefully plan a project with fewer problems we are glad to help do so!
