Hello, just checking in. I'm almost as old as Grumpy, but most of my perfomance work was in my youth. My muscle cars were a '66 Olds 442, a '69 Z28, a '74 Corvette and a '77 Corvette. During those days, I did lots of engine-trans-rear end work, as well as quite a bit of custom paint and body work. But career and family put that on hold for quite some time. My current daily driver is an '09 Corvette. It is purely a waxer that I just love to drive. I have an '83 El Camino sitting in the garage that I am planning to rebuild and hopefully regain some of my youthful enthusiasm for mechanic work. I figure there is a lot of great information toward that end on this site. Below is a picture of my Corvette.
