Hello Everyone,
Been looking for a web site with "Real" people. I think I found one. Hope all is well with all. Have been involved with cars and motorcycles for quite a while. Now own a 1985 C4. Had to get out of bikes for physical reasons. May not be the brightest, but willing to learn, and help if need be with my experience. Glad to come aboard.

welcome to the web site! any pictures of the corvette or your garage etc. would be great!

Welcome !
A C4 Corvette is Unique .
Any Engine will fit.
Even non Chevy Based.

Thank you for the greetings. I'll post pictures after I get hold of one of my kids to show me how. LOL. (They just talked me into a "Smart" phone. Still kinda old school.) My son and I have been working on his 90 Fox Body race car, traded my beloved Electraglide for this C4. Talk to you all soon.

Hello all.
As requested, some pictures of my C4. 660000 miles and unmolested. Plans are to keep it as original as possible, of course better tune, exhaust, upgrade the brakes, suspension.......Whoa wait a second........ It's fun to drive as it is.

The 1985 C4 Corvettes have a Hidden Edge over other Production C4 Corvettes. With the Z51 Option they sat about 3/4" -1.00" Lower than all other factory C4 Corvettes.
Thus how they hit 150 mph Top speed in all the Big Magazine Car Tests back in the Day. Engineering used uncarriage aerodynamic racing know How.
It was Ground Breaking at the Time.
It put GM Corvette back on the Performance Racing World.
It was Lack Luster Dead after 1979 with the last 1979 Trans Am 400 4-speed Built.
Buick GNX Grand National wasn't released till 1986-87.

Looks pretty clean. I never sat inside any C4, I heard somewhere they are the most difficult to get in and out of (Is this true?)

I assume you meant 66K miles? and trust me when I say if you think is fun now in stock condition, youll love it if you do a few of the correctly matched modifications that can really wake it up!

Thank you all. As I said earlier, I finally mastered the fall in crawl out required to getting in and out. But once inside it's surprisingly comfortable, except the e-brake which kinda rubs your left leg. Ooops. 66k mileage 660000 would have to some kind of record I guess, and it sure isn't a Volvo. I agree, properly matched mods always work best, whether mild or wild. Waiting for Spring and we'll see what can be done. Proper tune up, and brake upgrade probably first. Then the notorious door panels.

A new car dealer in town has an '85 with less than 800 miles and all the original factory plastic covers. They won't budge off of $15,900 Was listed at $18,900,
