got a ford 9" diferential and want to clean up your engine compartment and move some weight to the rear wheels?
obviously this can be done to most cars, with a custom fabricated alternator mount bracket, if your creative and can measure ,fabricate and weld, up something similar to this custom bracket pictured below

puddles,mud, speed bumps and road trash probably won,t do it much good , but i think its mostly an option designed to weekend toys that are rarely if ever driven, in less than ideal conditions, usually only on hot dry weather and clear roads, like usually only to car shows and to local cruise nights
 
I've run this for years, without any problems. I've been caught in the rain several times. It's the water that runs under my seat where the electrical wiring is that's a problem. :lol:
