when you compare the cost and what your getting this might seem expensive, but once you calculate the individual cost of components and building something similar its starting to look far more reasonable

>Introducing the ''Connect & Cruise'' Crate Powertrain! With so many people interested in one, concise package focused on the LS platform of engines, Chevrolet Performance engineers set out to simplify what can be a very complicated powertrain. Working with ''on the shelf'' products, they were able to put together the perfect packages of parts. Each engine in the Crate Powertain package comes complete with a specified engine harness, fuel injection control system and engine management, a high performance electronically-controlled automatic transmission, and transmission controller system - a complete system that is all guaranteed by the Chevrolet Performance engineers to provide you with years of trouble-free service. What makes this system so special is that Chevrolet engineers have developed all of the electronics that you need to make a sophisticated LS engine and an advanced electronically controlled automatic transmission work seamlessly together. The electronics are so simple and so easy to install and operate, that they started referring to these powertrain packages as ''Connect & Cruise'', and we can't think of a better way to describe the ease with which you can install and connect a new LS crate engine to a high performance transmission in your own project car. Simple and easy, which allows you more time to enjoy your hot rod!

Introduced in 2009, the Cadillac CTS-V LSA supercharged engine produces 556 HP and 551 ft/lbs torque. Enough power to propel the CTS-V from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and a Cadillac record of 7:59:32 around the Nürburging making the CTS-V the fastest production sedan in the world capable of 191 mph top speed when using the manual transmission. In all, the LSA offers a tremendously powerful supercharged engine package with the sophistication necessary to be Cadillac.

GM Performance Parts is proud to offer this fully-dressed production engine for your performance project. While it shares the 6.2L displacement of other LS engines, this engine is produced with powder metal rods, forged crankshaft, and a 9.1 comp ratio. The supercharger package has a single brick intercooler mounted in the intake with a very low profile for minimal hood clearance. This engine package has a broad torque curve and serious horsepower on tap. Perfect for your high-performance needs!
