Hey Grumpy Diesel question

My wife has a F250 Turbo Diesel (7.3) she uses on the farm. The exhaust system is shot (turbo back). Can you point me to any information so that I don't start the replacement cold. I just never did something like that and could use some info before I start in. Thanks Jack
 
several clear pictures, of the current exhaust would help,and posting the truck year would help.....are you looking to custom weld your own or buy a replacement exhaust system?
 
2002, no she uses it to pull horse trailers etc. I am thinking however about going to a 4inch pipe rather that the oem. Was looking at the one form Summit. I just know nothing about diesels let alone wrenching on one.
 
Thanks Gumpy, I used the Summit as you suggested. They had it in stock for pickup. Great service. Cut the old system off with a reciprocating saw (I love that tool, every one should have one). I lucked out the the v-band clamp was in good shape. Not a difficult install, although it is a heavy system. Lots of WD40!!
