I installed a new roller cam,i installed a xfi280 cam in my 383 it has afr heads and 11:1cr any one run a similar setup and what did you set your base timing at?

im having a hi idle issue and it will hunt in idle and then settle when at a stop light any ideas?"

your cams similar to mine, this works on my car, (IT WON,T IDLE UNDER 960RPM worth CRAP so don,t make your self nuts trying,) and if your cars an auto trans a 3000 rpm stall converter speed is MANDATORY, and a 3.45:1-3.73:1 rear gear is really needed for the car to run correctly, the car WILL NOT RUN OR IDLE worth crap with a stock stall speed converter your beating a dead horse if your trying to get that to work

obviously the TPS and IAC need to be adjusted correctly and no vacuum leaks

pull, label,each cylinders plug, and post clear pictures of your spark plugs I can tell a great deal from clear pictures
DID YOU VERIFY TDC ON THE DAMPER AND TIMING TAB OR ASSUME THEY ARE CORRECT?
DID YOU SET THE TIMING PER THE SHOP MANUAL?

what size injectors are you using?
do you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?
and whats your fuel pressure?
