Hello everyone, I'm Craig from just a punt north of Winnipeg, Canada and I'm building an old-school T-bucket. So far, I've built the frame using plans from the late, great Ron Young of Minnesota. Both Ron and Ted Brown have been mentors to me, and it was a huge loss to hear of Ted's recent passing. I have most of the major components - body from Cromwell Molding in MN, TH350, 8" rear, all suspension and steering components and rad, '56 F100 drum brakes.....just need a running 350 sbc.

And it looks like I'll need to boot one of my vehicles out of the garage for the winter to make room for the project. Back in the day, car clubs rented old warehouses for next to nothing but those days are long gone.

I'm looking forward to getting some expertise from you.

Welcome Craig, you found a good home here! Passage into our realm is by pictures and lots of them! What car will be put out this winter?

Rich

Hey Rich, the F150 will come out only because my wife calls the shot on this one. It's going to be culture shock because I've had a garage to park in at -30F during the last 42 years of driving.

Many of the car clubs in my region were started by new car dealers and they would have warehouse space for a very low cost to the members. However in time some guy would spoil things for others now that's all just a distant memory.
Isn't it funny how wives always get control over our hobbies?

My second truck was a 1971 F150 with a 390 4 speed.

Welcome to the forum!

(Has anyone yet said: pics or it never happened???)
