I think I am in the right place for this ,but is it true that the horse power and torque always cross at 5252 ,just heard this today and still looking up info about it.

It has to, since the formula would dictate that. Some may wonder where the 5252 comes from, well that just a simplification of the forumula. One HP = 33,000 ft lb/min by definition, when you reduce that by 2pi or 6.2832 you get 5252.DPC Racing said:I think I am in the right place for this ,but is it true that the horse power and torque always cross at 5252 ,just heard this today and still looking up info about it.
