How can I clean Copper spray off gaskets and engine??

So because of a screw up by my machine shop I had to removed already torqued down heads for them to fix them.

I was/am using copper head gaskets, which I was told could be reused, and to use copper sealer spray.

So now I would like advice on how to remove the spay on the gaskets and the engine block.
