I fully understand why people get frustrated, dealing with total morons

I just spent over an hour ,trying to order a simple, replacement remote control for a t.v.
with DIRECT T.V. each moron starts by verifying I don.t owe money, on my account.
and verifying my address, phone numbers account numbers, my name etc.
I was transferred four sequential /repeat times and each department wanted the similar extensive details,
like my address, my account numbers, t.v. models, my phone numbers, satellite model numbers, etc.
and each moron took at least 15 -18 minutes or more each.. verifying I'm up to date on payments.
before transferring me to the next minimum wage, low I.Q. moron in a long chain,
telling me they work for the wrong department and will need to transfer the call,
obviously I'm dealing with multiple minimum wage, low I.Q. morons ,
that's over an hour I spent repeating info to clueless people, time wasted spent dealing with frustratingly clueless morons,
morons who obviously read a printed scripts, and probably don't know a damn thing about what they are dealing with,
and barely speak English, as soon as you mention you want to order a replacement remote, control, and are willing to pay,
if that's required, but you have a full warrantee... they instantly revert to reading the script. thinking must be absolutely forbidden
more than once I wanted to throw my phone on the floor.

You can just buy one for a few bucks on Amazon. Do you have a Best Buy, they sell them for $14

yeah, but the wife insists I buy them direct
(and you can't generally get away with choking the wife)
even if it might seem warranted
