THE 7TH CIRCUIT IS ,
almost totally anti (against) civilian firearm and magazine ownership
they are making it up as they go along, as they want the power to regulate and prohibit,
civilian ownership and are in total opposition to,(against) civilian firearm and magazine ownership
the traditional second amendment interpretation does not please the elites,
so they decide to ignore its implications and historic values
( the elites know, you can't force the masses to do unpopular things,
or force the population to accept forced "RE-EDUCATION"
(POPULAR COMMUNIST PHRASE,
FOR ELIMINATING POLITICAL OPPONENTS WITHOUT A TRACE)
if they are armed)

restricting the rights of the vast majority of law abiding citizens
just empowers the criminals who have no intention of following any laws

obviously this is headed to the SCOTUS

the situations constantly in flux,
this makes the case far more likely to go MUCH MORE DIRECTLY AND MUCH MORE RAPIDLY to the SCOTUS

the obvious goal is severe ownership restrictions ,registration lists on owners, on both ammo and firearms ownership
and obviously eventual confiscation, (or why would they bother)

police / and sheriffs logically and correctly refuse to confiscate firearms,
knowing its both unconstitutional, and highly likely to result in violent confrontations
where innocent party's on both sides of the confrontation may get hurt or worse.

failure to turn in your FOID card and GUNS results in.
(no foid card and you can't own guns)
you losing your drivers licence!

this as always was obviously going to happen as the result of ,

the governor of ILLINOIS has repeatedly threatened to call an EMERGENCY,
anytime there's a mass shooting, to then justify his GOAL and confiscate all semi-auto rifles.
SB-2720 (not yet LAW) would force you to turn over your FOID card and guns or lose your drivers licence
you can't make AND ENFORCE obviously unconstitutional laws,

ILLINOIS POLITICAL ELITE'S GOAL, has always been to forbid or hugely restrict civilians firearm ownership
and they feel the ever expanding but incremental route, to ever stricter mandates is the way to do it!
but the SCOTUS is most likely not going to take ILLINOIS politicians telling them to "pound sand".... WELL :facepalm: :giggle: RATHER BADLY
