Hi there everybody - old guy here, I'm PC stupid please bear along with me .
I have '71 Vette, It was a repo, some kid that was attending West Virginia. The bank
picked it up and brought it back. I couldn't get the driver's door open, my youngest
son drove it home. I could not twist my body to get behind the steering wheel.
I don't want to bore anybody so maybe I'll continue this some other time.

your not (BOREING)anyone here,
IN fact we welcome the input and problems as its instructive to other guys on the site, some detailed clear,pictures would be nice, and Id certainly check the frame on your corvette very carefully for rust damage , or accident damage as thats a rather comon reason the door jams on older corvettes (FRAME FLEX, or twisted)

either that or perhaps the door handle mechanism failed. Does it feel like the latch releases when you push the handle down?
