heres an interesting series of pictures taken during an engine build, while he has not yet posted the results of a dyno test ,looking at the components selected Id estimate it will produce power in the 550 plus peak hp range
Here is the rundown:
Dart shp block
Dragon slayer 3.875 stroke crank
Crower stroker rods 6.0
Ati super damper
Ross pistons flat tops -5 cc reliefs
Crane cam 242/248 .598/598 hydralic roller( 1.6 ratio) could change as we are running a shaft system
Crower ss shaft system
AFR235 comp ported heads
Miniram with monoblade
11.1 comp
Canton rr pan
Here are some links to build:

Nice Engine Grumpy.
For all that's invested & parts chosen I can not believe Stock 1987-96 L98/LT1 Hydraulic roller lifters & Link bar setup used.
GM Link bar is powdered metal construction.
Would have used ISKY RED ZONE FULL SOLID ROLLER AMPCO BRONZE TRUNION WHE
EL LIFTERS.
Solid Roller Race Cam grind.
Its Carbed.

man i want to use one of those composite intakes so bad! what a nice setup! im with brian tho, why the hydraulic roller?

I got a couple e-mail questions on this thread post and honestly Im rather amazed ,
some of you guys understandably look at the parts and would like to have a similar sbc engine built,I can easily see where it might look like a good idea, but just ticking off the parts list cost your quickly up in the $11K -$13K range and your going to have a neat little 421 sbc that probably makes 570-600hp, and while thats rather neat, and while I fully understand the performance enthusiast lust to own such an engine, I look at the cash spent and can,t help but think that for a similar cash outlay I could rather easily build a more impressive BBC engine, or spend less and build a BBC that made equal or better power.

Yes Grumpy.
Think I would go BBC Too. Or LS X.
Thinking of that 427 Tall Deck BBC Lately I have.
Its a Sleeper with right parts & modest investment.
Ultra Heavy Block casting.
Run Full Water jackets on The street with no typical Hardblocked 1/2-2/3 Filled to bolster cylinder walls.
I could build a Pontiac 455 to perform same & better as the 421 sbc shown for less $$$$.
