Is it a rifle, or a pistol?

It was just 10 below early this morning when my friends, their sons and mine all packed for an Eagle Scout Winter Survival weekend (not sanctioned). Not too far up the Delaware River outside of the last town in Bucks County there is an old 100 year old abandoned paper mill over 700 long inside four walls and a half shot roof. Perfect for indoor shooting. We've been there many times and we already had a dozen bales of hay and 6. 33 gal trash bags full of metal cans and plastic cups. I brought my newest toy.

It bought this Mares Leg lever action pistol in 22 g for my son but I had a load of fun for myself. I wanted this for a fun, target shooter that I could play all day for very little ammo expense. I always wanted that gun from one of my favorite old Tv shows " Dead or Alive" staring Steve McQueen. So with a recent idea of Wild West ghost town excursion later this year I picked this gun and the old west style holster and belt is on order.
My 12 yr. old daughter is good with a standard 22 rifle so I have to give her equal time next weekend, just saying - I have to be fair!

Rich CDNN Sports .com has 1400 rounds of Remington 22 for $139.00 not a great price but hard to find cheaper

Thanks Ray, I just ordered a few buckets and managed to get free shipping. Always ask even if there's nothing advertised.

I have a Henry lever action 22 mag, and I love it. Nice workmanship and clean action movement. If I am not mistaken Henry rifles is where Winchester got its basic design.
