Till your hips get fixed, 500 Hp is plenty.

Head porting. Race style cam. Big tube race headers.
Race Holley Carb. Matching Race intake. $$

That's my inner child talking :lol: It just seems that many new cars are in the 500 hp range and I was just thinking in terms of bragging rights above those, but you're right, high 400 to low 500 hp is fine. I can't drive anything of this nature right now, it would just be absolute torture.
 
Brian, I've been coming across several Pontiac Tri-power manifolds, some with carbs - one with just the center. Prices range from $300 to $700. I found one that is a Pontiac Aluminum intake dual Quads for $700 (I never saw one of those yet). Loads of heads too. Do you want me to copy and send them to you? I haven't called any of them. Seems there's no shortage of parts just a surplus of opportunists looking to get rich!

Hang onto your cash Rich $&$.
I am after the Original Pontiac Super Duty 421 Heads.
Only other production heads that perform like 1970 Ram Air 4 heads.
Won't come inexpensive.
They used Factory Aluminum 4-2-1 Exhaust mainfolds- headers.
421 SD.
 
Buying complete Muncie 4-speeds & Factory installed Hurst shifters are a good investments Rich.
Never go down in value. What I did for 15 + years.
Rebuild & Flip them. Double or Triple my $$$.
