I scared the hell out of one hunter this season, I was in a full ghillie suit during archery season, I was sitting up in some brush, slightly to one side of a trail, (down wind, about 25 yards) overlooking a trail thru some rather dense cats claw vines, that the deer and hog tracks said was in constant use when this guy walks slowly into view, hes, moving in a consistent pattern, looking around and moves about 5-7 steps then stops and looks around, as he moves up the trail, as he gets abreast I spoke, ("see anything") I thought he was going to have a coronary!
he jumped so far!
he looks around 360 degrees but still doesn,t see me....looks up, in the trees , looks around, then says where are you? I said right in front of you off to your left about 15 yards, I stood up and he acted like the ground just came alive, it took him several seconds before he calmed down, only when I removed my head gear did he seem to appreciate it was just camo
I don,t have pictures but this is very similar
but my ghillies more green/gray patches looking, matching the local vegetation much better
