below youll find info on upgrading the 1985 absurdly slow computer controls for your tpi controller to the 1986 upgrade thats 150 times faster.stock injectors are either 22 lbs ,or 24 lb and it changed on some years,but as long as all 8 are the same 22lb or 24 lb work, on a basically stock TPI ,the computer just adjusts the pulse duration to compensate, in fact even the 30 lb can be use IF you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and know how to make tuning adjustments
just keep in mind the computer has to learn and its not that fast on the 1986, (the 1985 is even a great deal slower) but either one will compensate during the first hours drive to either 22-24lb size injector
thats why if you ever run NITROUS on a TPI it MUST BE A WET SYSTEM, the CPU can,t compensate fast enough to prevent burnt pistons on a early TPI to run a dry nitrous system without eventually having problems related to the air fuel ratio under nitrous if a dry systems installed
now thats still amazingly slow compared to modern computer speeds and its a very valid reason why DRY nitrous systems should NEVER be used on a early TPI corvette(THE COMPUTER CAN,T POSSIBLY REACT FAST ENOUGH) but it a huge improvement in your cars ability to self tune, so if youve got a 1985 you might want to read thru the linked info carefully
