So heres the scoop.
I bought a 1pc rear 383 stroker short block a little while back and so far havent done anything with it. I also just bought a set of ported/polished LT1 heads, ported LT1 intake, throttle body, wiring harness, programmed ECU, all the sensors and lots of other misc. parts and brackets for $450.
The plan is to take the LT1 heads and fill/weld the two outer water inlet ports on the intake side of the heads so that they will work with the traditional SBC cooling system. i'll be playing every bit of this by ear and hope to be able to spread some good information. Also, i'm open to any suggestions or links for information.
As soon as I get a chance to clean some of this stuff up a little bit I'll post some pics!
