Lucas petrol Pump

Hello everyone.
I have a maserati 3500 gt in the workshop.
The lucas petrol Pump has been giving us a lot Of grief.
Does anyone know of someone who can rebuiltvon of these pumps?
I believe they where used on jaguar and loads of racing engines.

you might want too look for a re-build kit

it would help if I knew the year and engine size of that maserati
3500 GT etc,

Are you even as old as the car you're working on? Silly me for asking but I've done the same thing when I had never seen anything like it before and we didn't have Google then.

But sometimes people know people who know people that Google doesn't know off.

I believe the only thing we need to know that it is an 8 cylinder....

A diesel fuel injection repair shop may be able to help.
At least bench test dynamic flow the system .
Test Dyno bench.
Worked in 1 a few years back here in Illinois.
More to mechanical injection than appears to most.

I had a crower kinsler mechanical fuel injection on my 1968 BBC 496 corvette
but the pump looked a great deal less complicated

Id call these guys and ask if they could rebuild your injection fuel pump

Found it! Called a chap called Brad @ Kinsler.
And from what I have heard he seems to know what he is on about. ( and they have NOS parts!!!)
