Hey y'all,

Just a few lines to say hey. I'm a misfit simply because I'm not a hot rodder. About the only modification I would make to my 26 Chevy would be to uummm, aahhhh ...... I'll get back to you on that.

Oh wait. It does have a 28 engine which supposedly gives it about 7 more horse power. Does that count? :lol:

Odds are good too that I may not paint it an original color. Close maybe but not exact. Anyone who wants to volunteer to do the body work will be fed well and given ample am'ts of their favorite beverage. :D

Harry (enigma57) suggested I visit here, so here I am. Blame him for any problems I may cause. :lol:

Welcome to Grumpy's Performance Forum, Bill! Glad you could stop by. If you stay a spell, we might just open up a keg and get to work on your roadster there. Better keep an eye on Bob, though...... He LOVES pink cars. Don't let him near the spray gun. ;)

And better keep an eye on me as well...... Carburettors are like women. If one's good, two's better and three ain't near enough! You're liable to have the only '28 powered '26 roadster on your block running a pair of Webers!

i dig your chevy.

here in northern NM, there were as many 20s chev trucks rotting in the fields ( 70s when i was growin up here) as there were fords.

i figure there must have been a really good chevy dealer in the area in the 20s.
