Moly Lube "shelf life"

Not that it is very expensive or hard to get but is there any info that would make anyone think that Moly Lube can go bad after any certain amount of time. I have a tube of Moroso moly lube, that in a metal tube not the plastic tube. And want to know if you guys would use it or toss it?

In my experience ,it won,t go "bad" in any reasonable time frame (like under 3-4 years)
but it can partially separate into both grease and a surface oil if left sitting for several years, but if it does that you can simply mix back together, It never gets a chance to degrade, in my shop, I use it too often and need to replace it frequently, but I have seen it separate when friends had some sitting on a shelf in a hot shop, for 5-6 years, we simply stirred it back, together, before smearing it over lifters and cam lobes and used it and it worked fine

BTW THIS STUFF FROM HF

and neither of those products above is a direct substitute for assembly lube or moly cam/lifter assembly grease

and before some one askes , yes Ive seen lots of guys just use this grease smeared on cams and bearings as assembly lube, sometimes right out of the can, sometimes mixed with MMO and yeah it worked, but your safer using the product designed for the job rather than just mixing your own concoction, but like i said it worked when we used it years ago.
