MSD distributor degree bushing.

solid fixture here in the forum
Well, as you know msd provide degree bushing for the ignition timing advance.
The smallest one (physically bigger) one with less advance is 18°. Problem is, for the forced induction guys like me, need more initial timing like 18° and no more that a total timing of 30-32°
The degree bushing msd provide will not allow me to set my ignition timing the way i want it..

So, i did some reading and this is what i found.

The bushings are 0.1755" tall and have an inside diameter of 0.195".
They are camfered on the outside edges to help them slip into the slot.
a 14 degree bushing would need an outside diameter of 0.3865"
a 10 degree bushing need a O.D. of 0.3940"

So, now all i have to do is get the machine shop to make me some :D.
Hope it help some other people.

great info! thanks for that! if and when you get it back together, let us know the results
