My Camaro has been sitting for 25 years. It has a 400 CI SBC, T400 tranny, 10-bolt posi 3.73 gear. Before parking it 25 years ago, it ran 12.40s on 9 in slicks and open exhaust at Raceway Park. Unfortunately, I did nothing to my car before letting it sit all that time. My question is about the COMP CAMS camshaft, lifters springs, and rocker arms.
1. Camshaft - Roller Hydraulic Camshaft that I believe is okay to us after all these years. Do you agree?
2. Springs - I can not use my springs as I did not loosen rocker arms. I know the part number and COMP CAMs still makes them so I plan on buying new ones. Do you agree?
3. Lifters - These are Roller Hydraulic Lifters and I don't know if I can use them? COMP CAMs still makes them so should I buy new ones or can I use the old ones? I have no idea?
4. Rocker Arms - These are Roller Rockers and I believe I can use them. Do you agree?
Thanks for the advice, Kevin
