"here is a picture of the SBC oil pan on my HOLDEN and I'm swapping a BIG BLOCK CHEVY ENGINE into the car, the only major problem I,m running into as far as clearance is the oil pan as theres a cross member under the front and steering linkage under the rear making a center sump mandatory, and idea where you buy a center sump big block oil pan?"

Ive done a few engine swaps where there was no easy to access oil pan that would clear easily, you can rather easily modify a stock oil pan if you can fabricate and weld , a MIG or TIG welder is PREFERRED , you may want to cut and weld the sbc lower oil pan onto a spare big block chevy oil pan , after taking careful measurements and marking clearances or fabricate a totally new oil pan starting with just a common salvage yard supplied big block oil pan as a basic starting point. if you take that route you'll want to use poster board and tape to fabricate a test pattern, before working with sheet steel, but its really not that difficult to do if you take your time and think in thru and even a 110 volt mig will do a reasonably decent job, a good light duty shop welder will not cost much more or at least not a great deal more than having a custom oil pan built, professionally , and almost any competent hot rodder can fabricate a functioning custom oil pan if he starts with a spare oil pan and bolts it to engine block so it can,t easily distort due to heat, all it takes is very careful measuring, making a precise pattern with card board poster board and tape and transferring that to -14 ga steel sheet once you have a workable model

THERE ARE MOPAR PANS with center sump designs that could be used as a supplier of material for your custom oil pan
