Any idea's

Id suggest finding some way to loose about 200 lbs, off the car weight, an aluminum hood of carbon fiber fenders or bumpers , a custom K frame, a set of race seats, theres a hundred ways to cut weight and its a sure way to make the car faster and put less stress on the drive train and brakes.
long full length tuned headers and a low restriction exhaust thats easily removed at the track, would help.
personally ID be thinking about a 2" four hole carb spacer and the cam below

Id drill out the throttle bores in the spacer to a bit larger than my carbs throttle bore size
and mod it to have two parallel smooth oval openings with a front to back divider wall lest in place

swapping to a crane 110921 solid lifter cam would certainly increase a few hp, the tighter LSA and greater lift , and swap to solid lifters vs current hydraulics should easily allow you so spin the engine 700-800rpm higher and make power further up the rpm range, yet still make more mid rpm torque

open spacers are designed for and generally used with single plane common plenum intakes
dual planes have twin plenums and work best "in MANY CASES" with 4 hole or divided spacers, in some cases where the engine is very restricted a single open spacer or lowering the plenum divider wall helps improve flow rates on a dual plenum intake but if it proves to be a huge improvement in that application its almost a guarntee that a properly designed single plane intake would do even better
