It scares me when I can't find a price anywhere on their website ! Wonder what it costs.

We all have to make choices about where are money is used, for me I put my money on Dart block and forged rotating assembly as my splurge.

I like the idea of being able to log data associated with alot of digital electronics and then being able to analyze my changes, that would be nice.

I'm planning on the FAST EFI for my car. It's my daily driver in the summer so it'd be nice to get some better fuel mileage along with a bit more power.

How does it compare in price? We're going to need lots of pics of the installation, just in case I need it the future!

for the master kit with inline pump is under 2000. There is one guy on another forum who works at a shop that sells this set up and they have had no issues with them. It's more to set up than the MSD unit but there is a video on how to do it and it's an afternoon job.

You can never just go back the marketing hype! MSD says there is only 8 wires to connect where the others have 14-16 wires, but that could be a big deal or something very simple.

If the EZ is only an afternoon to install, then no big deal. In fact, I wouldn't want it to be too easy, where would the fun in figuring that out be ??? :)

all the systems have to be basically the same, they are all doing the same thing. Another reason I'm leaning the EZ way is it's sold here in Canada as well and it's the same price surprising enough.

I know you help with nice asphalt cars (NASCAR?), but have you ever mentioned what car you play with??? What kind of toy are you in bed with ?

we run an 80 camaro with the stock front frame clip and the rear chassis similar to a limited late model. We have a 602 crate but we might go with a built engine next year. Here's a picture of it after it tagged the inside wall on a nite that didn't turn out so great but we did have it back for the next friday running the same times. We are going with a glass body next year..

I just noticed in a post the Big_G is running the FAST EFI. I pm'd him to see if he can let us know in this thread what his opinion is of the FAST EFI

The aftermarket EFI offerings are becoming very competitive...not only in price but performance. For a while, F.A.S.T. was on top in terms of features, but Accell gen. 7 was right there, with Holley just behind them both. Now with the release of the Holley Dominator ECU, it (in my opinion) is the leader. Pricing is still about even, whether the lower cost "self-learning" systems like F.A.S.T. EZ-EFI, Holley's or the new offering from MSD, or the highly capable full-blown user-programmed high-end systems like the F.A.S.T. XFI or the Holley Dominator. The F.A.S.T. XFI can have traction control added to the ECU, and Holley Dominator had a built in transmission controller (4L60-80). Both of these have some limited "self-tuning" capabilities, but only after a base tune is loaded. I have installed three F.A.S.T. EZ-EFI systems so far on customer cars. Two replaced carburetors, and one replaced the Corvette 1990 tuned port ecu. Great performance from all three.

I will document the next one we do, I did not take any photos on the last 3 we did.
