New guy

Hi everybody,
I'm another chevy talk guy. I have a 57 2 door sedan with a 396 in it. I've had it for about a year. I had a 56' that I sold perhaps 3 years ago and my wife said I should get another (I've got a keeper!) so this time I got something a bit more finished (this one has an interior!).

I'm in the middle of a engine upgrade (top end) and with the help here maybe I wont make as many mistakes.

WE ALL ARECONSTANTLY LEARNING NEWSTUFF!
IT TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO BUILD A REFERANCE LIBRARY,.AND TO REALIZE I MIGHT NOT KNOW ALL THE ANSWERS AND THAT MAGAZINE ARTICLES COULD BE FULL OF CRAP OR LEAVE OUT 50% OF THE NECESSARY INFO,...asking question beats making mistakes, It took me several years to find that out in my late teens but I eventually found out that even going to extremes like reading instructions and following manufacturers dirrections and calling the tech guys for help, paid off at times! WHO KNEW!.......yeah! being young.....as you got older it eventually dawns on you that theres a small chance that your buddies might be clueless and some of the old geezers might have seen and done a few things and learned a bit along the way, making thier own mistakes.
