My name is Hector. I am currently building a 1964 impala with a 327 and a muncie 4speed
I have a B&M 144 blower that i want to install.The muncie came out of 1966 impala super sport.
I am eager to learn the ways of the blower. Thanks

Ive built a few supercharged engine combos,and we have a couple members with those smaller roots design superchargers On the site, so if youve got questions Im sure they can or I can answer most of them, the main trick is to both gear the car correctly for the engines power band and to cam the combo to maximize the superchargers cylinder flow characteristics, which will in your case require a fairly wide LSA on the cam to reduce the tendency to loose boost pressure out the exhaust during the overlap cycle and, keeping the rpm range low enough to maximize the superchargers efficiency, because the 327 can be built to reve higher than the supercharger can keep up with
