Looking to purchase a 5 speed for my 72 camaro street / strip car . 510 motor 680 HP 650 TQ . Do I go with the Richmond super street 600 , or the Tremec TKO 600

"GM TKO 600 is torque rated at 600ft/lbs. 26 spline input shaft with a 31 spline output shaft. 2.87 first gear .82od. Standard shift location is the rear Muncie" 4 speed shift point. Mid and front shift kits available. Main case bolt pattern remains the "Muncie" 4 speed" pattern."

but my gut would suggest the muncie bell housing bolt pattern would be cheaper to work with

what is the story on the motor? those are some crazy HP /torque numbers.

Nothing special really . 510 cubes , 9 to 1 compress , SRP pistons ,JE rings ,Eagle rods ,Crane complete roller valve train , rect port heads ,Dart intake & holley dominator . Dyno time with 89 octane fuel !
