I am a Corvette enthusiast. I have owned and raced Corvettes since 1975.

My first Corvette was a 1974 coupe that I sold in 2006 after 32 years of driving and autocross:

In 1990 my wife and I built an SPO Corvette for road racing with the SCCA:

We purchased a 40th Anniversary convertible in 1993:

After 10 years and 147,000 miles we sold the 93 and purchased a 2003 convertible:

I purchased a C6 ZO6 as a retirement present to myself in 2008:

Feb. 2010 we sold the 2003 and bought a used 2007 with 15K miles from a neighbor:

Well, it looks like I don't have a photo of the 2007. I'll have to remedy that later.

And ... I like firearms and shoot occasionally at Dade City, Manatee and Shoot Straight in Tampa with friends, nothing competitive.

Good to see someone with your experience Lloyd! Hope to see lots of you in the future, so many people only post a few times, then we don't see them again. I think you will find this an excellent site, so look around and if you agree, then tell your friends.

A friend of mine had a '74 Corvette exactly like that one, same color and all. I drove it once. It was a nice car.
