Found this sight Via a link provided on another car sight.
I have been drag racing for way too long.
Currently own a 1958 Corvette drag car that I have owned since my early 20's as well as a S/P dragster.
I'm retired from AT&T where I spent the last 15 years of my carrier as a UNIX system administrator.
I have been a automotive machine shop rat all my life and have worked in three different machine shops since my retirement.
I still have access to the equipment in two of those shops which gives me the ability to machine and build all of my own race engines as well as for customers.
I love the phrase "Knowledge is power". There are very few people that know it all.
Any place that has open dialog to share information is where I like to hang out.

Welcome Blwilliams! The others will only talk after they see pictures and specs on the vette. :D

WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE!
yes any information or picture you have about your car or projects is more than welcome.
btw I was for 34 years part of AT&T/MA BELL
for a short time
a lineman , then a splicer for southern bell,
then after completing my degrees
a pbx tech, then as an engineer for AT&T then LUCENT
I retired from AVAYA, with 34 years in the "phone company" when I got seriously injured on the job

Oh my!!!!!! No!!!!! I shan't say another word till I see pics of that vette

#drool :p

Avaya? I worked with those guys... CRAP! I was being mute till pics!

don,t blame me, for anything AVAYA, did, I never had any control over anything while I worked there other than a few guys I worked with

Welcome!!

I like Engine discussion and pictures too.

1958 Corvette, yummy, louvered hood and lots of chrome, originally anyways.

Thanks
Randy

Then you can tell me how the hell can I stop/block the robots and telemarketers from calling me.
Do electronic "bullets" really exist?

Here are a couple of pics of Corvette and dragster. First Corvette pic is from back in the 70's when I first finished it up. Second is current.

Everything looks good!!

I used to run a front Engine Econo Rail back in the 1970's

Sure seems ancient now.

Thanks
