Wayne Ryther here from Albany, GA..been reading Grumpy's post on Hybridz for a long time and got to talk to him today. He asked me to join and post some stuff...I'm a stree car nut and like to see how we can stretch the envelope. Retired 10 years ago from the Marine Corps after 35 years of service and now have a little time to play with my toys.

What caught Grumpy's eye was my 71 Datsun 240Z with twin turbocharged 415 sbc. Will post in other areas...glad to be here and hope I can assist the cause with a little bit of knowledge and experience if you need it.

pardon me for goin' all mushy on ya here. i am a reformed liberal, my parents raised me to a conscientious objector during the viet nam years ( i am 48 now),of course the draft was obsolete by the time i turned 18, but carter had us in a mess.
slowly through my 20 and 30s i started to see the value of our military and became a conservative. i thank you for your service to our great country.
