nice running project for sale in eustis fl

I like those C3's too Phil.
In the past If I would go to the bank & take out a loan.
2 days later it was at home.
Just a Risk & tough today with kids.

ive been debt free since 09 and i plan to stay that way for life... i havent had any real "credit" activity for years... my fiancee has a credit card she uses for gas and groceries that gets cash back, and she financed her '11 scsb silverado but other than that shes debtless too. its nice feeling you arent in someone elses pocket. keep "paying the bills" easy

Its the Smart Way & Best today Phil.
Economic situation up & down in Florida like Illinois.
Best to use what you have. Build it as Grumpy preaches & shows us all how to.

Lots of small stuff not 1970. Steering wheel, Big Block hood and rims. Repaint might have some life with a good buffing and moisturizer. Base-line motor 300 hp not 350 hp. I just sold a 72 in the same condition for $6,000 but no a/c. If someone gets it for high 7K or low 8K there's profit with a new paint ($2,500 paint).
Still a chrome pumper all there and running under 10k you can't get hurt.

I too got rid of all credit cards in '09 - now I use just 2 debit cards, one for big money purchases like airline tickets, hotels. the other for everything else. If I don't have it, it can't be spent!

amen...

im not worried about authenticity, as i would likely make purists faint with the things i do to cars these days. i just love chrome bumper c3's and to have a real fast one would be the ultimate thing for me...

we have a green 70 or 71 lt-1 in a coma in the shop that may never come out to play, along with its sister, and 81 turbo pace car recaro t/a... the vette was my best friends first muscle car about 20 years ago and he still owns it. the t/a was his older brother's first car ever that he bought used in 85

The '81 Turbo Trans Am Pace Car is a Sleeper Phil.
Buy it if you can.
Add Competition Engineering Bolt in Frame Connectors. On my 70 TA since 1994.
Won't twist the body up playing hard.
Solid axle car. No IRS Rear to blow out.
Has special 4-wheel disc brake package & WS6 suspension.
Stop faster & handle way better than any stock C3.
The special Recaro Trans Am seats worth $4-5 k if mint alone.

the car is mint inside and out... just dusty on top... has about 40k miles. if we get it running were gonna replace the whole fuel system, maybe upgrade to a blow thru carb setup with a bigger turbo on the lil 301 its a really nice car... i love that the firechicken on the hood covers up the turbo specfic cowl... has the boost gauge lighs in the cowl looks awesome all lit up a night... i would remove and leave off the pace car livery tho.

for those that cant remember look at the difference

Please say you're just kidding. I bought an '81 PC T/A in '05 from a woman who let her boyfriend cook the turbo and never checked the oil. I stripped the car down and by the time I could think about what to do with it a delivery guy saw the body parts and offered to buy it. Somehow rolled his '80.
I only sold the body and equal what I paid for the whole car. It took me until last summer to basically give away the remainder, selling the optional Red & Black Recaro seats for a whopping $500 for the pair (no wonder he was so happy). I see a dozen or more of these each year slowly rising in price.

Btw, Richard Hendrix owns the last '81 T/A PC actually driven in the last Daytona 500 Richard Petty won.

did he get the back seats to for 500 bucks? you missed out... putting them up on ebay with no buy it now price for a month... usually around tax time is best when people start getting funding for their toys... you know the auction game, all it takes is two guys that want it bad enough and its money in the bank for you.

I had a Mint Perfect 1978 Pontiac Trans Am Seats put away for 21 years.
I quadruple bagged them all.
From a wrecked 15,000 mile car.
The rare & desirable Black Crushed Velour.
Later 1979-81 had the Hob Nail upholstry pattern.
I bought the 87 C4 vert in 2007.
Bam Bama became POTUS in 2008,
I knew he was a fuck basterd already from Chi town politics.
Also read it was going to get super bad & it did.
I dug them out of deep storage from one of my msny hiding spots.
Perfect still.
Photographed all. Put up on ebay.
Started auction at $500. No reserve.
5,000 views by Pontiac nuts in 7days.
They sold for $2500 + change.
Guy from Iowa bought them.
A Pontiac Collector & owner of a 1969 Trans Am coupe.
Paid me in person with 100's Benjis.
I took the $ & paid off my Vette.
Paid off in just 15 months.
Did it all with Ebay & surplus Pintiac Parts put away.

I kept all the Rare Ram Air 4 & SD455 & Race parts.
& The Poncho musclecars.

If I recall correct, just 110. 1981 Turbo Trans Ams Had the Ultra rare Red upholstry Reclining Recaro seats.
So Yes Rich....Mint worth $$$&&$$.
