I was getting gas yesterday when the car in the next bay got my attention, it was a mid 1980s jag which sounded much more like a rather radical high compression v8 and when I asked the driver he popped the hood and showed me a 468 big block chevy engine he had installed, it looked like a factory installed engine, everything was very neat and well laid out, he had a large holley on a air gap intake and he said the engine made 460 rear wheel hp, now the way the car easily spun the tires as it left without having the engine rpms go very high, was impressive and it accelerated very well, I don,t know the trans or rear gears but it looked like a very well thought thru car
now regrettably I failed too get any pictures but I pulled this few of a similar car so you'll get a vague idea
and here is info on the swap kit he used that comes with headers
