PCV System

Can anyone tell me the proper/best PCV system layout for a 70 LT1 350. I think the PCV valve hose from one valve cover goes to the vacuum port on the intake manifold, and the larger hose from the other valve cover goes to the air cleaner. Would it be better to Tee the two hoses together, should I add a vent? Thanks in advance for any replies.
 
Mine has the pcv plugged into the left (driver's) side front area of valve cover and going to vacuum, I think to a port on the qjet. Oil filler is on rear of that same side. Right side has a larger hose fitted which goes to the air cleaner.
