PCV Valve

Hey guys I changed my valve covers to some Eldelbrock crome (nothing special) and it did not have a PCV vaulve gromit so I put in two breathers instead one on each cover. Do I need a PCV valve?
 
you don,t NEED a PVC in the strict sense the engine will run just fine without it but it tends to help reduce oil film in the engine compartment and reduce crank case leaks as it reduces pressures at times in the engine, and it certainly doesn,t hurt anything if its properly installed and functions correctly
