I just had mt '79 350 rebuilt, and during reassembly noticed that when the Alternator is installed, it covers up the dipstick for the Power Steering pump. If I try to enlarge the pully, it will cause a rub on the frame. It seems that my only option is to trim off the end of dip stick. Has anyone encountered this problem, and did you find away to fix the problem?
