Power Steering Fluid Flush

The only fluid I haven't replaced on my 87 vette is the power steering fluid. I was considering following the procedure below to replace the old fluid with new. Any of you guys done this before? Any things I should look out for other than not letting the reservoir run dry?

You can use a Suction Fluid Siphon Gun too Bytor.
A Lincoln or Harbor Freight.

I modified the procedure slightly. Instead of starting the car and pumping out the old fluid. I just put the front of the car on jack stands and with the car not running, i turned the steering wheel lock to lock 10 times to pump the old fluid out. Then refiled the reservoir and repeated until I had all new fluid pumping out of the return line. Worked like a champ without the risk of running the pump dry.
